b2om - this Server to Server integration module converts boom events into HP Operations Manager messages and passes them on to the OMU Server. The integration module can be configured to automatically delete all events from the boom server that have been successfully forwarded to the OMU server. This greatly reduces maintenance in Proxy environments.

b2om uses the Java based Message Stream Interface of the OMU Server for a maximum throughput and a minimum delay for submitting new messages.

All the necessary Message Keys and Fields are set in the converted messages to enable a seamless processing by the OMU Server including Auto-Acknowledgements and Duplicate Detection.
In addition the boom Custom Attributes as well as additional boom related fields are submitted as OMU Custom Message Attributes. These provide additional classifications (e.g. Availability and KPI Status) and enable an easy identification of the source in the OMU console.
Closed messages will be submitted directly to the history.
